Location: Mt Windsor National Park

Australian Wildlife Conservancy hopes to deploy up to 90 camera traps, targeting threatened mammals in wet and dry sclerophyll forests at Mt Windsor National Park, between 28 May and 1 June, and 11-15 June 2018. Ideally volunteers would be able to stay for entire trips; however, for the 28 May to 1 June trip, we can ferry people to/from Mt Carbine on Tuesday night if they can only stay for shorter stints (i.e. drive own car to Mt Carbine). You will need a high level of fitness, as the work will involve long days walking through mountainous terrain. Back at camp we'll have shelter, plenty of rest, hot meals, bathing/toilet facilities etc. thanks to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, who have kindly allowed us to stay in their barracks. There will of course be opportunities for spotlighting. FOR MORE INFORMATION, PLEASE CONTACT DR.
